What we collect, and what we do with it.

Written to be read rather than to be survived. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will answer plainly.

What this site collects

If you build a service model and choose to send it to us, we receive what you typed: your name, work email, company, role, an approximate policy count, an optional phone number, and any note you add. The selections you made while building the model travel with it, so nobody has to ask you to describe your operation twice.

We also record where the visit came from — the referring page and any campaign parameters in the link you followed — so we know which of our own materials are useful.

Nothing is submitted until you press the button. Answering the questions on the service model builder sends us nothing.

What we do with it

We use it to prepare for a conversation with you and to follow up about Layr's services. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Submissions are stored in a system readable only by Layr staff. They are not visible to other visitors, to other Broker Partners, or to anyone who fills in the same form.

Measurement

We record which parts of this site are used — which pages are read, which calls to action are followed, how far into the service model builder people get. Those records describe actions, not people: they carry no name, no email address, and nothing you typed into a field.

This site loads no advertising trackers and no third-party profiling scripts.

Your service model

The configuration you build is held in the address of the page you are on. That is what makes it shareable — you can copy the link, send it to a colleague, or return to it later. It is stored nowhere else unless you submit it to us.

Anyone you send the link to can see the configuration it describes, so treat it the way you would treat any link you forward.

Policyholder data Layr processes for Broker Partners

Separately from this website, Layr processes account, policy and policyholder information on behalf of Broker Partners in order to service their books. Layr handles that information as a service provider acting on the partner's instructions, under the terms agreed with that partner.

Access is restricted to the Layr personnel who need it to perform the work, and each Broker Partner's information is isolated from every other partner's.

If you are a policyholder with a question about your own information, your broker holds the relationship and is the right first contact.

How long we keep things

Inquiries are kept for as long as they are commercially relevant, and removed on request.

Information Layr processes on behalf of a Broker Partner is retained according to that partner's agreement and applicable insurance record-keeping requirements.

Your choices

Ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you. Ask us to correct it or delete it and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Every message we send about Layr's services can be unsubscribed from.
